Dylan & Lauren Moffett | Lubbock, Texas Portrait Photographer

There are a lot of things that inspire me. But then again...the one thing that truly inspires me and has a HUGE place in my heart is surfing, long boarding and the beach.

Now I know Lubbock is NOWHERE near water, but whenever I can incorporate my surfboard and long board into a session you better believe its gonna happen!

Dylan and Lauren were the perfect couple for this session. First of all they were willing to model for me and secondly they are the brunette version of Barbie and Ken, obv. !!

This session just energized my soul and well, let's be honest, it made me miss the beach SO much.

Oh, and yes, there is a video for this session. My dear friend and amazingly talented videographer, Lauren Kilpatrick, came out and captured some g'narley stuff. I can't wait for her to post the video!!!

My heart is so happy and excited to share these images with you. Love just doesn't get any better than this!

Chase & Meredith | Abilene, Texas Engagement Photographer

When I was little my older sister Gale and I bought a pair of Chuck Taylor Converse shoes. Gale told me I had to wait to wear them until Friday. She told me that Fridays are good days and the shoes would bring good luck if worn on a Friday. Being so young I believed it and waited until Friday to wear them.

Well, a good blog post is like my pair of Chuck Taylors minus the fact I couldn't wait until Friday to share these photos with you!

You see, Meredith is one of my future sister-in-laws and she's getting married to Chase in December. When she asked if I could take their engagement pictures I screamed and then I spun around in my desk chair (I spun it so hard I went around twice! Believe that!)

Not only is this couple completely in love and perfect for each other, they made their session so unique.

Chase's family has some beautiful land east of Abilene, so what better place to have an engagement session (Side note: this is where Chase proposed to Meredith too!) Talk about a tailor-made session! The weather was beautiful and we ended the session out at an old oak tree where your heart would just melt looking at it!

Chase & Meredith, wow...just wow! You two are fantastic.beautiful.funny.fun.loving and all around inspiring! Can't wait for the wedding!

Chase is a 3rd generation Churchill and dang proud of it! We even had the chance to use this old prop to emphasize on the "Churchill" name.

I had to put this one in here. I have the hottest photo assistant ever ;) In between locations he picked these for me!! He's the best future husband ever!!!!
